Insurance Information

Payment in full is required at each appointment for services rendered.  Fees may be paid by cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex), Debit card or personal cheque.

Following periodontal examination and diagnosis, we will provide you with a detailed estimate of the treatment recommended, and the fees involved.  To determine the extent of your coverage we will submit a predetermination to your insurance carrier on your behalf.  Our fees are based on the current, B.C. Dental Association Periodontal Specialty Fee Guide.

For patients who provide our office with their detailed insurance information, we will be pleased to submit your claims electronically on your behalf.  We encourage you to be informed regarding your dental coverage, and understand the benefits and limitations of your plan.  Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer and your insurance company.  We are not part of that contract, and have no influence over it.

Our experienced receptionists deal with many different insurance companies. Some companies offer many different dental  benefits. These companies can change benefits, co-payments, and deductibles  throughout the year. We do our very best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on the information available to us.   As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any changes to your insurance coverage. It is important that all information about you and your insurance is current and accurate.
